Hi, I’m Emma, and I’ve spent the last 30 years in the well-being industry as a personal trainer, health coach, and most recently, the Health & Well-being Coordinator at the University of Auckland, where I created the award-winning programme Actively Well.
In 2020, my life took an unexpected turn when I was injured and found myself facing chronic pain and PTSD. That experience changed everything. I went from being the one supporting others to someone in need of deep healing myself.
What followed was a journey of self-discovery—one that challenged everything I thought I knew, and ultimately expanded my understanding of what it truly means to heal.
Today, I combine my professional background with the raw, lived experience of recovery to help others feel free, energised, empowered—and healed. My mission is to walk alongside people as they reconnect with their bodies, their strength, and their sense of possibility.

This is the key (the gold!) to why this course works - it is the support, guidance, compassion and relatability that I provide by coaching you directly via 1 on 1 and weekly group coaching sessions.
An hour or two each week is enough to make progress on your goals. The course is designed to work with your schedule. Lessons are pre-recorded to watch whenever works best for you, and coaching sessions are held live every week and also recorded so you can watch in your own time. The course can take as little as 4 months to complete but you have access for 12 months.
Yes, there will be some sessions that I will be demonstrating and explaining exercises so that you can have a tailored exercise/movement programme that works for YOU.
If you join today, you will receive 12 months of access to the program so plenty of time to work through the ebb and flow of life and these barriers.

Yes, this is a large part of the course. Learning why, how, what you need to do to heal is so important.
I'm so grateful to Emma for all her time and support. I cannot put into words my gratitude for Emma and her incredible work. Last year, I was struggling with undiagnosed health issues. I had exhausted every option and was putting in so much effort without finding any relief. When I finally connected with Emma, her support felt like a blessing, I only wish I had been referred to her sooner. Getting support from Emma is something that should be a must in any mental health treatment. It's not good enough just to tell people struggling with mental issues to exercise. Having guidance and education about exercise, follow ups and an incremental process of exercising that goes step by step, with achievable goals, is just the proper way to do it.
