At FitMeDay, I believe that everyone deserves the tools, knowledge, and support to live a healthier, more empowered life — no matter their starting point.

My mission is to create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing space for anyone facing physical or mental challenges or barriers that make it hard to heal or fully engage in life.

Me - Emma

I’ve spent the last 30 years in the well-being industry as a personal trainer, health coach, and most recently, the Health & Well-being Coordinator at the University of Auckland, where I created the award-winning programme Actively Well.


I was recently diagnosed with a head tumour. I am documenting/journaling this journey in "My Blog'. I am still taking on clients duringn this time as it is my mission to help others.


Before this and why I want to help others - this happened:


In 2020, my life took an unexpected turn when I was injured and found myself facing chronic pain and PTSD. That experience changed everything. I went from being the one supporting others to someone in need of deep healing myself.


What followed was a journey of self-discovery - this was my healing journey —one that challenged everything I thought I knew, and ultimately expanded my understanding of what it truly means to heal.


Today, I combine my professional background with the raw, lived experience of recovery to help others feel free, energised, empowered—and healed. My mission is to walk alongside people as they reconnect with their bodies, their strength, and their sense of possibility.

Getting support from Emma is something that should be a must in any mental health treatment. It's not good enough just to tell people struggling with mental issues to exercise. Having guidance and education about exercise,  follow ups and an incremental process of exercising that goes step by step, with achievable goals, is just the proper way to do it.
